President Ilham Aliyev: The current dynamics of Azerbaijan-Congo relations is gratifying
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulation to President Denis Sassou-Nguesso on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Congo.
“The current dynamics of Azerbaijan-Congo relations is gratifying. Your visit to Azerbaijan in April has given a new impetus to the friendly and cooperative relations between our countries. Additionally, the recent visit of the COP29 President-Designate to Congo is a clear example of our countries' partnership in combating climate change ,” the letter reads.
The President of Azerbaijan wished his counterpart good health, happiness, success in his endeavors, and continuous peace and prosperity to the people of Congo.

UNICEF və Elm və Təhsil Nazirliyinin əməkdaşlığı ilə keçirilən “STEAM vasitəsilə yaşıl bacarıqlar” layihəsinin ikinci mərhələsinə start verilib.
Caspian Energy Media nazirliyin mətbuat xidmətinə istinadla xəbər verir ki, layihənin məqsədi uşaq və yeniyetmələr arasında iqlim dəyişmələri barədə məlumatlılığı artırmaq və ekotexnoloji bacarıqları inkişaf etdirməkdir.
Layihə Azərbaycanın müxtəlif bölgələrindən olan 10-17 yaşlı gəncləri əhatə edir. Seçilmiş iştirakçılara Ağdaş, Gəncə, Quba, Lənkəran, Mingəçevir, Şirvan, Şəmkir və Zaqatalada yerləşən STEAM mərkəzlərində iqlim və digər sahələr üzrə mütəxəssislər tərəfindən təlimlər keçirilir.

Azerbaijan launches ballot printing for snap parliamentary elections
Azerbaijan has started printing ballots for the upcoming snap parliamentary elections scheduled to take place on September 1.
Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) inspected the printing process and the conditions created for this task.
He announced that a total of 6,516,567 ballots would be printed in the process.
The CEC Chairman briefed the media on the ballot printing process and overall election preparations.
Actress Gena Rowlands dies aged 94
Gena Rowlands, hailed as one of the greatest actors to ever practice the craft and a guiding light in independent cinema as a star in groundbreaking movies by her director husband, John Cassavetes, and who later charmed audiences in her son's tear-jerker The Notebook, has died. She was 94.
Rowlands' death was confirmed by representatives for her son, filmmaker Nick Cassavetes. He revealed earlier this year that his mother had Alzheimer’s disease.

Turkish, Turkmen defense ministers meet in Ankara
Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Guler met with his Turkmenistan counterpart Begenc Gundogdyyew on Wednesday in the Turkish capital Ankara.
Guler received Gundogdyyew with an official ceremony at the Defense Ministry. The event included the playing of both countries’ national anthems, followed by Gundogdyyew's salute to the honor guard.
In June, Guler paid a visit to Turkmenistan and met with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmen People's Council Chair Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and Gundogdyyew, Caspian Energy Media reports with reference to “Aznadolu Agency”.

Kasım-Jomart Tokayev Saranda “KamaTyresKZ” təkər istehsalı zavodunda olub. Qazaxıstan Prezidenti müəssisənin inkişaf perspektivləri ilə tanış olub.
Zavodun 2027-ci ilə qədər 3,5 milyon təkər istehsal edəcəyi gözlənilir.

Президент Казахстана посетил предприятие по производству шин
В рамках рабочей поездки в Карагандинскую область Касым-Жомарт Токаев посетил завод по производству шин KamaTyresKZ в Сарани. Президент Казахстана был ознакомлен с производственным циклом и перспективами развития предприятия. Продукция завода выпускается под брендом Attar и сертифицирована на соответствие международным стандартам.
Ожидается, что к 2027 году завод будет выпускать 3,5 млн шин.
