President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has held an expanded meeting with President of the Republic of the Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso, Caspian Energy Media reports with reference to the official website of the President of Azerbaijan.

Addressing the meeting, President Ilham Aliyev said: Our views concur on all the issues discussed. We look forward to working together on COP29 and are grateful to you for your support.

Then, President of the Republic of the Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso said: I would like to mention again that we have tremendous potential in the field of renewable energy, we have the sun all year round, and we can take advantage of Azerbaijan's rich experience in this field.

2 апреля Президент Азербайджанской Республики Ильхам Алиев принял генерального секретаря Мусульманского совета старейшин Мохаммеда Абдельсалама, oб этом сообщает CaspianEnergyMedia со ссылкой на сайт президента.

Глава государства подчеркнул Шуша был объявлен «Культурной столицей исламского мира», и с удовольствием отметил, что в следующем месяце в Шуше пройдут торжественные мероприятия.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received Mohamed Abdelsalam, the Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elder, Caspian Energy Media report with reference to the presidential website.

The head of state recalled that the city of Shusha was declared was declared the “Cultural Capital of the Islamic World”, and emphasized with pleasure that solemn events would be held in Shusha next month.

During the conversation, the sides stressed the importance of inter-confessional dialogue in the Muslim world, citing Azerbaijan’s experience as a successful example.

Стоимость июньских фьючерсов на сорт Brent на лондонской бирже ICE Futures сегодня составила 89,06 доллара за баррель. Это на 0,24% выше, чем на закрытие предыдущих торгов.

Во вторник эти контракты подорожали на 1,5 доллара (1,7%) до 88,92 доллара за баррель.

Фьючерсы на нефть WTI на май на электронных торгах нью-йоркской товарной биржи (NYMEX)  85,35 доллара за баррель (+0,23%).

Цена одного барреля азербайджанской нефти марки Azeri Light на мировом рынке повысилась на 2,63 доллара или 2,95%, до 91,85 доллара.

По итогам торгов цена майских фьючерсов на нефть марки Brent составила 88,92 доллара США.

В госбюджете Азербайджана на этот год цена нефти заложена на уровне 60 долларов США.

Минимальная цена на нефть Azeri Light была зафиксирована 21 апреля 2020 года (15,81 доллара США), а максимальная – в июле 2008 года (149,66 доллара США).

The price of Brent crude oil futures for June delivery has settled at $89.06 a barrel today at ICE Futures. That is 0.24% above the closing level of the previous trading session.  

On Tuesday, these contracts rose by $1.5 (1.7%) to $88.02 a barrel.

The NYMEX WTI futures for delivery in May stood at $85.35 (+0.23%).

The world market price for a barrel of Azeri Light crude oil rose by $2.63 or 2.95%, to $91.85.

At the close of trading, the May futures of Brent crude oil settled at $88.92. The oil price has been set at $60 in the state budget of Azerbaijan for this year.

Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Azerbaijan Watanabe Katsuya, Caspian Energy Media reports with reference to the Ministry. Stressed at the meeting was the great importance attached by Azerbaijan to the development of cooperation with Japan, especially in application of digital economy technologies, development of cooperation in energy and other areas.

Besides, the possibilities of cooperation on investments and taxation within the COP29 framework were considered.
