On January 15, at the Qasr Al Watan Palace in Abu Dhabi, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held discussions both in private and with their official delegations.

Following talks between presidents of Uzbekistan and the UAE, a Declaration on the Establishment of a Strategic Partnership was signed. Additionally, intergovernmental agreements were concluded on mutual investment promotion and protection, as well as financial and technical cooperation.
