The second stage of geological research – preliminary exploration is started by AzerGold Closed Joint Stock Company in the area of Tutkhun gold deposit located in Kalbajar district, which is included in the administrative territory of Eastern Zangazur.
AzerGold CJSC concluded the first stage – research and assessment of 5 703-hectare area cleared of land mines and unexploded military supplies in Tutkhun with a total area of 27 360 hectares. In the second stage of research, drilling works were carried out in the area.
At the same time, removing land mines and unexploded military supplies from the Tutkhun area is continued and followed by geological surveys by AzerGold, Caspian Energy Media reports with reference to AzerGold.
