Romania hopes for the expansion of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) activities in the country, Romania's Minister of Energy Sebastian Burduja said in an interview with Baku TV, "Caspian Energy Media" reports. He noted that today SOCAR is one of the leading players in Romania's energy market.
"Of course, we have partners from other countries as well, but we really value SOCAR. This company fulfills its commitments, including tax and legal ones," the minister said.
Burduja emphasized that Romanian citizens also prefer SOCAR filling stations.
