In January-October of this year, 23,847.3 million kWh of electricity was produced in Azerbaijan, which is 0.8% less than the previous year, “Caspian Energy Media” reports.

During the reporting period, electricity production at Thermal Power Plants amounted to 20,532.0 million kWh, at Hydropower Plants 2,563 million kWh, and from other sources 752.3 million kWh.

During this period, 44.8 million kWh was produced at wind power plants, 515.3 million kWh at solar power plants, and 192.2 million kWh at the Solid Waste Incineration Plant.

Thus, over the 10 months, electricity production from green energy sources increased by 1,495 million kWh compared to the same period last year, amounting to 3,315.3 million kWh.
