Crude oil inventories in the United States dropped by 3.9 million barrels in the week that ended July 19, private data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) allegedly showed on Tuesday, Caspian Energy Media reports.

Meanwhile, reserves in Cushing, Oklahoma, allegedly decreased by 1.6 million barrels. Gasoline stockpiles declined by 2.8 million barrels, while distillate inventories went down by 1.5 million barrels, according to the reported data.

Consumer confidence in Germany is expected to increase in August and stand at negative 18.4, up from the previous month's revised figure of negative 21.6, a joint report released by the market research institute GfK and the Nuremberg Institute for Market Decisions (NIM) showed on Wednesday.

The economic expectations indicator is forecasted to jump by 12.3 points to 9.8 points. The income expectations indicator is expected to climb by 11.7 points to 19.7, Caspian Energy Media reports with reference to “Baha”.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on Tuesday that Russia produced oil at levels close to the OPEC+ target in July.

In 2023, around 630,000 people died from AIDS-related illnesses, a significant decline from the 2.1 million deaths in 2004.
