The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting between Minister Laziz Kudratov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus, H.E. Alexander Ogorodnikov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues related to bilateral trade, economic collaboration, and investment cooperation. They also reviewed the planned schedule of joint events for 2025.

Over the past five years, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Belarus has nearly tripled, reaching USD 714 million by the end of 2024. Currently, 228 enterprises with Belarusian capital are operating in Uzbekistan, while more than 100 joint ventures are active in Belarus. Both sides agreed to develop joint initiatives aimed at increasing mutual trade volumes and implementing new projects in industrial cooperation. "Caspian Energy Media" reports with reference to the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan.
