The Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov, and Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, participated in the 4th Interregional Forum "Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan," held in the city of Samarkand.

The forum reviewed the progress of implementing agreements reached by the presidents of both countries to increase bilateral trade turnover. Discussions focused on industrial cooperation, collaboration in the water, energy, transit, and transport sectors, as well as the gas industry.
