Azerbaijan and Bulgaria have strengthened their bilateral relations in taxation and exchanged valuable experiences, “Caspian Energy Media” reports, citing the State Tax Service (STS) under the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan.

During the visit, the delegation held several meetings with senior officials from the National Revenue Agency of Bulgaria. In these meetings, the STS delegation presented their national experiences. The presentations covered various topics, including the services provided by the Azerbaijani tax administration, methods for determining taxpayer satisfaction levels, assessing services and improving their quality, key performance indicators in this area, and mechanisms for verifying the compliance of actual indicators.

The exchange included discussions on court and pre-trial dispute resolution, the handling of administrative complaints, taxpayer services, in-camera tax audits, and other areas.
