A meeting coorganized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and the State Tourism Agency was held with representatives of the transport and tourism sectors, Caspian Energy Media reports with reference to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

Senior management of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, Azerbaijan Ground Transport Agency and the Association of Travel Agencies of Azerbaijan was represented at the event held with the participation of Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev and Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Nagiyev.

It was noted that the number of tourists who visited the country during January-March 2024 was 39% higher than the indicator fixed in the same period of last year.

During the meeting, proposals of representatives of travel companies and transport agencies were heard.
