Сначала главы правительств провели переговоры один на один, в ходе которых были рассмотрены актуальные вопросы двусторонней повестки дня.

А.Асадов и О.Бектенов затем продолжили встречу с участием делегаций двух стран.

В ходе встречи была подтверждена взаимная нацеленность на дальнейшее укрепление и наращивание взаимовыгодного сотрудничества между Азербайджаном и Казахстаном.

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan on February 28 with Beatrice Maser, the newly appointed Executive Director of the World Bank for the election group that includes Azerbaijan, “Caspian Energy Media” reports via the Ministry of Finance.

The meeting noted that Azerbaijan has greatly benefited from years of cooperation with the World Bank, with various funded projects and technical assistance in different sectors significantly contributing to the country’s socio-economic development.

In the course of the meeting current and upcoming projects in the priority sectors identified by the Bank for Azerbaijan were discussed.

На встрече было подчеркнуто, что Азербайджан на протяжении многих лет сотрудничает со Всемирным банком. Финансируемые проекты в различных областях и оказываемая техническая помощь вносят большой вклад в социально-экономическое развитие нашей страны.

В ходе встречи были рассмотрены текущие и предстоящие к реализации проекты по приоритетным для Азербайджана направлениям.

Görüş zamanı ölkəmizlə Bank arasında Azərbaycan üçün prioritet sahələr üzrə müəyyən olunmuş istiqamətlərdə mövcud və icrasına başlanılacaq layihələr nəzərdən keçirilib.

Azerbaijan and Croatia have discussed opportunities for cooperation in green energy, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on X, “Caspian Energy Media” reports.

“During our visit to Croatia, we met with Marija Vučković, Croatia’s Minister of Environmental Protection and Green Transition. Our discussions focused on diversifying cooperation in the energy sector, a key area of partnership between our countries. We also reviewed initiatives to promote the green energy transition and enhance climate action efforts,” reads the post.

Подчеркнув, что Азербайджан и Казахстан являются братскими государствами, демонстрирующими хорошие показатели в сфере социально-экономического развития, Президент Ильхам Алиев коснулся важной роли наших стран на международной арене, в нашем регионе и на более широком пространстве.

В ходе беседы было выражено удовлетворение развитием всестороннего сотрудничества между Азербайджаном и Казахстаном, подчеркнуто, что за последние три года годовой торговый оборот между нашими странами увеличился почти втрое, продолжается рост объемов грузоперевозок, в том числе транзитных, по транспортным коридорам. Были обсуждены вопросы поддержки инвестиционных проектов посредством совместного фонда инвестиций, созданного в Азербайджане и Казахстане, реализации совместных проектов в нефтегазовой сфере, в том числе перспективы увеличения объемов транспортировки казахстанской нефти по трубопроводу Баку-Тбилиси-Джейхан.

On March 3, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Olzhas Bektenov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

President Ilham Aliyev noted that the peoples of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are brotherly nations, a fact proven repeatedly throughout history.

He stressed that both Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are demonstrating strong socio-economic development and play a significant role in the international arena, the region, and beyond. During the conversation, both sides hailed the progress of comprehensive cooperation, emphasizing that the annual trade turnover between the two countries has nearly tripled over the past three years. 

The sides discussed support for investment projects through the joint investment fund established in both Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, as well as the implementation of joint projects in the oil and gas sector, including prospects for increasing the transportation volume of Kazakh oil via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. “Caspian Energy Media” reports with reference to the official website of the President of Azerbaijan. 

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Joan Laporta, President of FC Barcelona, on March 1.

The discussions highlighted the government's support for the development of sports in Azerbaijan, particularly football. It was noted that the country successfully hosts prestigious international sports competitions and world-class football matches in accordance with the highest standards.

During the meeting, it was mentioned that a document on the establishment of the Barcelona Football Academy in Azerbaijan would be signed. The sides also exchanged views on the future activities of the academy and cooperation in the development of children's football in Azerbaijan.
