Mukhtar Babayev, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources has met with Miles Robert Armitage, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Commonwealth of Australia.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged opinions on preparations for the COP29, which is scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan in November 2024, Caspian Energy Media reports with reference to the Ministry.

At the same time, opportunities for future cooperation between the two countries in environmental protection were discussed at the meeting.
