Why Finland?

There are many reasons, why you should choose Finland and finnish companies as your business partner. I will give you four:

1.      Happiest people

Finland ranks as the happiest country in the world according to UN World Happiness report (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023).

We Finns, are satisfied with everyday life. The environment is one the reasons. Finland has the cleanest air and freshest water. A stable society helps also: we have one the freest election systems and Finland is considered to be one of th least corrupt countries in the world.

Happy also means that Finns are trusthworty; if a Finn promises, he/she delivers.

2.      Best education

Finland has one of the best education systems in the world; all the way from the kinder garden to life learning.

Finland’s universities are among the highest performing in the world when countries’ levels of economic development are taken into account, according to Universitas 21’s Ranking of National Higher Education Systems.

Choose the land of happy studying and living! Finland is an adventurous and safe Nordic country with top-of-the-world higher education system. Finland embraces education for a better life and a brighter future for everyone.

Finland offers hundreds of bachelor's and master's degree programmes taught in English, and inspiring career prospects after your studies.

Education is important exporting service for Finland. Our educational organizations and edu-tech companies are actively looking for markets for our world-class services.

3.      Clean environment & highest quality cleantech expertise

WHO ranks air quality in Finland best in the world. UNICEF ranks Finland’s lakes purest in the world. Finland is the greenest country in the world according to the 2016 enviromental performance index (EPI). The World Economic Forum (2014-2015) evaluated that Finland is the number one in cleantech innovation.

With the help of our great edu-sector, our companies deliver the best, qualified engineers, information technology skills and development & application of technology.

BEST PRACTICES FOR CLEAN WATER

Finland’s world-class clean water expertise keeps drinking water free of bacteria and hazardous viruses. Finnish drinking water is better than most of the bottled water brands. Finnish municipal waste water treatment is among the best in the world, driven by the strict legislation and monitoring by authorities. Despite water intensive industries, like paper & pulp and mining & minerals, Finns are dedicated to keep their thousands of lakes clean by treating waste waters on site.

FORERUNNER IN RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGY

40% of Finnish energy is produced with renewables, like biomass, hydro, wind, and solar power. 50% of energy is recycled and recovered from wastewater and buildings in Helsinki. Finland is a global market leader in renewable technologies, like wind turbine components, solar inverters, and bio- and waste-to-energy systems.

We have many dedicated companies in these sectors willing to cooperate.

4.      ”Sisu”

There’s something strange (but good) that runs through our blood: "Sisu". It is a mindset that describes our national psyche and our nation´s character. Some say that it´s Finland´s match for the American dream.

Finland´s tough and hard history and often brutal weather are to thank for Finn´s sisu-filled blood vessels. Over the centuries, Finland overcame excruciating times through sisu. Finns overcame for example the occupations by foreign forces and managed to protect us World War II against and overwhelming enemy. This was noted at the time in the New York Times (1940): ”The Finns have something they call sisu. It is a compound of bravado and bravery, of ferocity and tenacity, of the ability to keep fighting after most people would have quit, and to fight with the will to win.”

It is very hard to describe it in one word or even sentence. It loosely means streanght of will, determination, perseverance and acting using your brain with integrity. It is about pushing your boundaries and approaching almos impossible challenges head-on.

You can bet a lot, that Sisu helps us achieve business goals also. You can count on our word like a rock, we will carry together through hard times and never give up. Cooperation efforts and win-win -mentality carries in our blood-vessels also.

The companies from Finland participated in the B2B Education Forum, which was held by Caspian Energy Club International on the basis of the official partnership of the LEF Network Azerbaijan project created by the European Union Central Baltic program and dedicated to the discussion of the development of new technologies and cooperation in the field of education between Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Azerbaijan. We would also like to inform you that on March 12-14th, 2024, more companies will visit Azerbaijan again within the framework of the program. In which they will participate in face-to-face B2B meetings, LEF B2B Forum, as well as business tours conducted by Caspian Energy Club.

Caspian Energy Club International was established in 2023 with the aim to manage international projects of Caspian Energy Club.
