Israeli Ambassador visits Ganja

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to the Azerbaijan Republic, George Dick has visited Ganja today.

According to the information, the diplomat visited the houses destroyed as a result of rocket fire by the Armenian armed forces, met with relatives of the dead and wounded.

Then George dick will visit the hostel, which temporarily hosted the homeless residents of the city.

“Attacking civilians is unacceptable regardless of their ethnicity or religion. Every life is valuable. No one should be in such conditions, lose their loved ones, friends and neighbors in the middle of the night”.

Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan George Dick said during his visit to Ganja, local APA bureau reports.

He noted that Israel’s relations with Azerbaijan are based on close friendship and deep historical roots: “We highly value our friendly relations with Azerbaijan. My coming here is the proof of this friendship. We delivered humanitarian aid to people affected by missile attacks. I came to Ganja to see with my own eyes the destruction caused by the missile strikes, to express my condolences to the people of Azerbaijan, the population of Ganja, and the families of the victims. I wish the injured a quick recovery. I met with a group of people who suffered from missile attacks, and I intend to meet with the rest. We Israelis are well aware of the bitter consequences of war and terrorist attacks, in particular attacks against civilians”.
