The Caspian Energy Club has organized the Online Round Table with the participation of Ruslan Aliyev, General Director of AZERIGAZ Production Union. Discussed in the course of the round table were entrepreneurs’ issues and suggestions on cooperation with the Production Union during the coronavirus pandemic COVID-19.

“Considering the scope of work carried out within 6 months of this year alone, the results are quite satisfactory”, General Director of Azerigaz PU Ruslan Aliyev noted while addressing the event. As in all areas, we also had problems during the special quarantine regime set due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). We tried to work hard, timely, and flawlessly fulfill customers’ requests. According to statistics as of July 1, the number of subscribers among the population registered in the Union makes 2 million 284 thousand 980 people. In 2020, 14 new residential areas were provided with gas supply. Provision of gas supply in 30 dwelling settlements and 27 new residential areas is ongoing. A new 583.1 km gas line was laid within 6 months. The "operational service 104" department took 574 697 appeals in 6 months. Opportunities have been expanded for a rapid response to requests during a special quarantine regime. 121,733 customer requests were processed in 6 months through the centers of "ASAN Kommunal", "Asan xidmət" and "KOB".
Then the questions of the Caspian Energy Club members were answered and a sincere exchange of views took place.
