Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Guler met with his Turkmenistan counterpart Begenc Gundogdyyew on Wednesday in the Turkish capital Ankara.

Guler received Gundogdyyew with an official ceremony at the Defense Ministry. The event included the playing of both countries’ national anthems, followed by Gundogdyyew's salute to the honor guard.

In June, Guler paid a visit to Turkmenistan and met with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmen People's Council Chair Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and Gundogdyyew, Caspian Energy Media reports with reference to “Aznadolu Agency”.
