Two LNG projects approved to further America’s energy revolution

The American Petroleum Institute has released the statement regarding the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) bipartisan approval of the Driftwood and Port Arthur liquefied natural gas (LNG) and pipeline projects, Caspian Energy News (www.caspianenergy.net) reports with reference to the press statement of API.

“API applauds FERC for coming together and approving two projects that will help to further America’s energy revolution,” said API’s Vice President of Market Development, Todd Snitchler. “The Driftwood and Port Arthur projects are emblematic of the opportunity that American energy producers have to bring clean, affordable and reliable natural gas to the rest of the world, while also providing jobs and economic benefits in the U.S. We’re excited that both of these projects will be moving forward with bipartisan consensus.”
