Kazakhstan lowers production

“We joined OPEC’s single decision on reduction of production. Kazakhstan lowered production by 20,000 barrels. Though, with the launch of Kashagan it is not that easy to do. But we stand with OPEC in it because it affects the prices. An average price $52-55 per barrel is satisfying all. Our budgets are based on $40-45 while now the price makes $52-55. If this position works we will continue maintaining solidarity with other oil producing countries”, President of the Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the press conference in Akorda,  Caspian Energy News ( ) reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy of RK.
