Kazakhstan unlocking the potential of the Trans-Caspian route

“The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars transport corridor is contributing notably to the development of transcontinental cargo transportation along the Asia-Europe direction. With the launch of this railway, the transit potential of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and the whole Trans-Caspian route will be fully unlocked. The countries have a huge potential for the development of bilateral relations between them, and it is important to use this potential through joint efforts. Azerbaijan is a strategic partner of Kazakhstan in the South Caucasus region”, First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin said during the meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Caspian Energy News ( reports with reference to the press service of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

“The Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan relations are developing successfully. There is a good potential for expanding the ties between the two countries, and we see positive results in this area”, the President of Azerbaijan said.
