Kazakhstan raising gold production

In 2016, Tau-Ken Altyn signed the contract for the supply of 14 tonnes of gold, Tau-Ken Altyn’s director Meyramgali Tleuzhanov said today at a briefing in the Central Communications Service, Caspian Energy News ( reports with reference to the official website of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

“Today we have signed contracts with more than 30 Kazakh companies, and for 2016 we have the signed contracts for the supply of 14 tonnes of gold”, said Meyramgali Tleuzhanov.

At the same time, he noted that in 2018 the plant plans to reach its design capacity at 25 tonnes.

“In general, the technological capacities of our company with raw materials available enable us to produce 70 tonnes of gold”, he stressed.

The head of the company specified that in 2015 Tau-Ken Altyn produced 11 tonnes of gold, of which 10 tonnes were sold to the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
