KZT 43 bn to be allocated for SPIID

For implementation of the State program of industrial-innovative development in 2016 43 billion tenge will be allocated, Vice Minister of Investment and Development of the RK Rakhim Oshakbayev has said, Caspian Energy News (www.caspianenergy.net) reports with reference to the official website of the Government of Kazakhstan.

"In 2016 43 billion tenge will be allocated for industrialization program," Oshakbayev said. "At the moment we have 10 Special Economic Zones. Since 2003, we have spent 265 billion tenge on them, but we need to invest 297.5 million tenge in infrastructure," he said. He also added that from 2003 to 2014 182 participants were involved in 10 existing SEZs.

In addition, he stressed that the principal objective of the SPIID is to create conditions for competitiveness in manufacturing industry.
