Car sales in Kazakhstan down 40%

Car sales in Kazakhstan, according to the Kazakhstan Auto Business Association (KABA), decreased by 40% in two months, Caspian Energy News (www.caspianenergy.net) reports with reference to Tengrinews.kz. According to the data of the organization, only in January sales of new cars fell by 30%. Earlier, Minister for Investment and Development Asset Issekeshev said at the government meeting in Akorda that sales of cars made in Kazakhstan went down. In turn, Minister of National Economy Erbolat Dossaev said 20 billion tenge would be allocated to support domestic automakers.
