Large funds to be attracted for second five-year industrialization plan

For the implementation of the second five-year industrialization plan it is planned to attract 6.6 trillion tenge, mostly by raising funds from the private and quasi-public sector, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev said (July 2) during the teleconference devoted to the launch of projects of the industrial-innovative development program, Caspian Energy News (www.caspianenergy.net) reports with reference to the press service of the Prime minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"Budget funding will be about 650 billion tenge, including from 1 trillion tenge allocated from the National Fund," Dossayev stressed.

This will allow to implement a "financial leverage" approach providing attraction of at least 4 tenge in private investment per each tenge in public investment, he added.
