Large funds to be attracted for second five-year industrialization plan

For the implementation of the second five-year industrialization plan it is planned to attract 6.6 trillion tenge, mostly by raising funds from the private and quasi-public sector, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev said (July 2) during the teleconference devoted to the launch of projects of the industrial-innovative development program, Caspian Energy News ( reports with reference to the press service of the Prime minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"Budget funding will be about 650 billion tenge, including from 1 trillion tenge allocated from the National Fund," Dossayev stressed.

This will allow to implement a "financial leverage" approach providing attraction of at least 4 tenge in private investment per each tenge in public investment, he added.
