Nar considerably increases base stations

Nar continued installation of new base stations in the territory of the country in the first half of 2017 in order to supply the subscribers with easy and uninterrupted mobile communication and Internet, Caspian Energy News ( reports with reference to the Company.

165 new 3G base stations have been installed in Baku, Lankaran, Gabala, Sheki, Shamkir, Shamakhy, Kurdamir, Bilasuvar and other regions of Azerbaijan since January of this year in order to meet growing needs of the subscribers.

Besides, 213 4G stations were also installed in the Absheron peninsula. Thus, owing to 794 4G base stations, Nar offers its users one of the largest mobile communication services in the country. Today Nar is offering high quality service to more than 2.3 mln of its subscribers owing to a broad network covering 99% of the country’s territory and consisting of more than 6,000 base stations.
