E-government portal to get new services and features

The work carried out within the framework of e-government portal of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) of Azerbaijan contributes to future plans and steps to be taken. Great interest focused on this area increases commitments over the portal, to change for the better and develop faster, Caspian Energy News (www.caspianenergy.net) reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies.

At the outset, services provided by government agencies were submitted for the integration into the portal of their own free will. Currently, e-services are selected in accordance with the public interest and public demand. Work is underway to integrate into the portal the services that are topical for the public and improve the quality of existing e-services.

At present, Data Processing Center (DPC) of the MCHT intends to create new services and features such as formal correspondence on the portal, making an appointment with government officials online, sending and tracking of complaints, personal file cabinet and so on.

Note that after the work and integration of information resources of government agencies into e-government portal is over, the type and quality of e-services will be increased further.
