A new version of ‘Dilmanc Translator’ program has been put into operation

A new version of ‘Dilmanc Translator’ program, which translates oral speech and texts on mobile phones from the Azerbaijani language to other languages and vice versa, has been developed and put into operation in Azerbaijan, Caspian Energy News (www.caspianenergy.net) reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to the developers of the program, the new version of the program differs from the previous ones in that it has an enhanced speech – to- text conversion system, which eliminates problems with oral speech recognition on certain types of mobile phones.

Note that “Dilmanc Translator” program is developed and distributed free of charge within “Dilmanc” project, which is supported by the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The program has gained popularity with users. It was downloaded about 70,000 times in 6 months following its launch. For the present, the program only runs on “Android” platform. But work is underway to develop new visions of “Dilmanc Translator” program for “iOS” və “Windows Phone” platforms.
