Ilham Aliyev congratulates newly elected President of France

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has congratulated the newly elected President of France Emmanuel Macron, Caspian Energy News ( reports with reference to the press service of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Macron’s economic program occupies thirty-two pages and includes 96 items. For 5 years he seeks to reduce unemployment from 9.7% to 7%. Also during this period he calls on reducing the number of civil servants by 120,000, but the number of teachers will only increase by 4,000-5,000 people.

In particular, he reported on the hiring of 10,000 gendarmes and police officers, but in the next five years.

Speaking about security, he plans to increase the police force, enhance military spending to 2% of GDP and create a single internal intelligence service to combat terrorism.

He proposes to reduce the corporate income tax from 33.3 to 25%, introduce a luxury tax (which applies only to real estate), introduce a fixed 30% tax on capital income, and abolish the voter tax for 4/5 families. Emmanuel Macron proposes to invest €50 billion in development of renewable energy sources, renovation of agriculture and housing, expansion of Internet coverage and support of innovations in the field of medicine.
