Delegations of Caspian countries commemorate Natig Aliyev

The Russian delegation headed by the Minister of Energy Alexander Novak visited the Alley of Honor in Baku on June 11 where it commemorated a social-political figure, deceased Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, ‘Shohrat’ order holder, honored engineer Natig Aliyev, Caspian Energy News (www.caspianenergy.net) reports with reference to azertag.az.

“I was deeply shocked when I heard about the death of my friend, Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Natig Aliyev. I knew him as a real professional who sincerely loved his profession. Natig Aliyev had a prefect understanding of all energy, oil-gas industry, power industry issues, made a great contribution to the development of energy of Azerbaijan and cooperation between our countries. We worked together in the Electricity Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States.  We were on very friendly terms with him. The loss of friend is certainly a sad event for us”, RF Minister of Energy said.

The delegation from Georgia headed by the Advisor of the Prime Minister Tedo Jalaridze, General Director of the Oil and Gas Corporation of Georgia David Tvalabeshvili, former Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan Zurab Gumberdize, present Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan Teymuraz Sharashenidze, Senior Adviser Giorgi Tsekvava have also arrived to commemorate the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan.
