Cooperation to be continued

“Ashgabat Declaration about cooperation in the energy field signed on September 5 2016 at the four-sided ministerial meeting EU-Azerbaijan-Turkey-Turkmenistan has been a basis for creation of the relevant working group and this successful cooperation will be continued”,   Vice President of the European Commission for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic noted in his video address to the participants of the Ashgabat forum “On the way to multilateral framework agreement on transit of energy resources, Caspian Energy News (www.caspianenergy.net) reports with reference to azertag.az.

Speaking about the Southern Gas Corridor project he noted the possibility of its expansion towards to the Central Asia by means of the Trans-Caspian gas pipeline.

“Attraction of Caspian gas to the European market is becoming real which is confirmed by a recent meeting of the Advisory Board  which took place in Baku in February this year”, Maros Sefcovic said.
