“Possibility of implementing the Asian Energy Ring project studied”, - minister

The possibility of implementing the Asian Energy Ring project is being studied. The project envisages integration of the energy systems of Russia, China, Mongolia, the Korean peninsula and Japan, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said at the “One Belt, One Road” forum.

These initiatives will make a significant contribution to ensuring global energy security, Caspian Energy News (www.caspianenergy.net) reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

“We are open to broad and mutually beneficial international cooperation enjoying equal rights with all countries interested in ensuring energy security and improving the quality of life”, Alexander Novak said.
