Croatia, Turkey to boost trade and investments

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has met with President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović of Croatia during her official visit to Turkey. Prior to their meeting, President Erdoğan welcomed President Grabar-Kitarović into the Presidential Complex with an official ceremony, Caspian Energy News ( reports with reference to the press office of the President of Croatia.

With the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Binali Yildirim President Grabar-Kitarović discussed parliamentary cooperation and the Turkish-Croatian Friendship Group, which was formed in the Turkish Parliament on 8 November 2018. Furthermore, they exchanged views on current events in the Croatian and Turkish neighbourhood and on the state of affairs in South East Europe, which is an interest both countries share with regard to preserving stability and stimulating progress.

Both sides concluded that Croatia and Turkey have a long and meaningful history of mutual relations, characterized by excellent bilateral relations, with no outstanding issues, and the two interlocutors concurred that further joint efforts should be invested in the economy aimed at increasing trade and investments.
