Georgia, Turkey to continue implementation of regional projects

Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze held a meeting in Telavi with Turkey's Vice President Fuat Oktay attending the inauguration of Salome Zurabishvili, who had become the first woman president, Caspian Energy News (www.caspianenergy.net) reports with reference to the press statement of the Government of Georgia.

The Vice President of Turkey and the Prime Minister of Georgia emphasized strong bilateral relations and reaffirmed commitment to furthering cooperation across a variety of areas, including economy. As it was pointed out, Georgia and Turkey will continue their active participation in the implementation of regional projects.

Mamuka Bakhtadze thanked Turkey's Vice President for visiting Georgia and singled it out as yet another demonstration of the strong partnership between the two countries.
