Azerbaijan invested $51million into the economy of Georgia in the first quarter of 2018, which is lower than the figures of 2017.  Investments made by Azerbaijan in the first quarter of 2017 totaled $97million, Caspian Energy News ( ) reports with reference to

According to preliminary data of the National Statistics Department of Georgia, Azerbaijan was the second largest investor in Georgia in terms of investments made during January-March. 18% of the total volume of direct investments made in Georgia falls to the share of Azerbaijan.

It is noteworthy that Great Britain ($82.7mln) is the first biggest investor in Georgia. Chine comes the third ($41.mln).
